The Rovers host local rivals Old Haileybury at Boss James Reserve on Saturday in what’s the second-last home game of the 2016 season.
After a disappointing loss to Ajax at home last week, the boys will be looking to rebound against Haileybury, who the Rovers defeated earlier in the season by 28 points at Princes Park.
While relegation is all but assured for Hampton, this game will be influential in who else drops to Premier C for 2016 – Haileybury or Brighton.
The Rovers side has just two changes from last week’s side – that is the lowest number of changes for the Rovers all year.
Get along to Boss James Reserve and cheer on the boys as they look to get a win at the Boss. The Seniors kick-off at 2pm with the Reserves, who will also be looking to defeat the Bloods again, at 11:40am.
You can get Live Scores of the seniors and all VAFA games via the Rovers website and mobile site. And don’t forget to follow the Rovers on our social media channels to stay up-to-date with all the action: Facebook (fb.com/hamptonrovers), Twitter (@HRAFC) and Instagram(hamptonrovers).
Last-minute bookings are being taken for the Home Game Luncheon. We’ve got Brayden Maynard, Peter Maynard and Jason Cripps on board as special guests and it promises to be another great function. Click here to read more >
Also on Saturday, the Under 19s are away at EE Gunn Reserve to face arch rivals Ormond, commencing at 2:00pm.
We encourage everyone to get along to the club Saturday and come into the rooms following the game. The bar will be open from the final siren until late with match awards at 5:30pm.
