Hampton Rovers return to Boss James Reserve on Saturday to host Monash Blues in round 11 VAFA Premier B action, high in confidence following last week’s win.
The Rovers have won two of their past four matches with the two losses coming against top four opposition. Last time the two teams met, the Rovers had a shocker and the boys will ensure they put in a much improved performance this time around. The Blues also had a strong win last week, defeating top-side Beaumaris in an upset at the muddy University ground.
Three changes for the Rovers. Congratulations to Tom Yorgey who’ll make his senior debut for the club. After winning the game last week, Nick Pavlou returns to Sandringham and has been named to make his VFL debut, alongside another Rover Luke Verma – we’ll have the game live on TV in the clubrooms from 2:15pm.
We encourage all Rovers supporters to get along and support the boys as they look to claim their third victory of the 2016 season and first win at home. The Seniors kick-off at 2:00pm with the Reserves at 11:40am.

AFTER MATCH COCKTAILS – At the conclusion of the Seniors match (from approx. 4:15pm) we welcome all the ladies of the club into the rooms for a complimentary cocktail. And we of course welcome everyone into the rooms following the game, the bar will open when the final siren sounds. Match awards will be held at around 5:30pm.
