Hampton Rovers face Ormond in the opening practice game of 2016 this Saturday at Tatterson Park in Keysborough.
In what has become a traditional first practice hit-out of the year, the Rovers face their long-time rivals in the first of three matches prior to the 2016 VAFA Premier B season.
There will be two matches, with the first commencing at 10:00am involving Under 19s, Reserves & Thirds, with the main game consisting of mostly Seniors at kicking-off at around 11:45am.

We welcome supporters along as preparations step-up for the new season. We’ll also be looking for help so if you’re able to assist in any role please let the club know.
The Labour Day long weekend follows, so the next practice game will be on Saturday 19th March against Mordialloc at Ben Kavanagh Reserve in Mordialloc with the final game against Mazenod on Saturday 2nd April (venue TBC).
Pre-Season Training for the Rovers has been steady and it continues each Monday and Wednesday at Boss James Reserve. For players who are yet to attend, we welcome you along. Training will move to Tuesday’s and Thursday’s as of 15th March. Click here for all the pre-season training details.
The Rovers open their 2016 campaign against Parkdale Vultures on Saturday 9th April at Boss James Reserve.
