Rovers host Old Geelong

Hampton Rovers take on Old Geelong at Boss James Reserve on Saturday – the only team the Rovers are yet to play in 2013. A win will see Hampton go through the first half of the season undefeated.

Following the well-earned weekend off, the Rovers go into the round nine encounter with five changes including a few returns from injury and young Luke Verma coming in for his first senior game of the year.

In the early game, it’s a top-of-the-table encounter with the Rovers and Old Geelong Reserves equal-top of the ladder. So get along early and show your support – Reserves commence at 11:40pm with the Seniors at 2pm.

Final bookings are now being taken for the pre-game President’s Lunchclick here for details.

Live scores are available on the Rovers website here and also via our Twitter account: @HRAFC

The Thirds take on Emmaus St Leo’s at Bennettswood Sports Ground (Deakin University, Burwood) commencing at 9:20am. The Under 19s make the short trip to Banksia Reserve to take on Beaumaris, starting at 11:40am.

Players this weekend will be wearing orange shoe laces as part of Step Back Think’s new campaign: Lace Up – Take a stand against youth violence. Click here to read more.
