George ‘SUPER’ Aivatoglou is one popular young man, you would swear there are three of him as he seems to be everywhere, his only problem is there is not 25 hours in the day.
“SUPER’ is one likeable lad, his personality is infectious, great fun to be with, he is at the centre of laughter always.
Sport is his life, and he will have a go at anything, Football, Cricket, Basketball, surfing, snow skiing, skate boarding, scootering and surf lifesaving, he has done it all and excels at everything.
He came runner up B&F in him under 9 team last season and loves playing a hard contested game of footy with his mates and singing the club song.
He is a Richmond man and loves watching Jack Riewoldt kick goals for the Tigers.
At Easter, George was with some mates at Bells Beach watching the finals of the annual BELLS EASTER CLASSIC, it is the oldest professional surfing contest on earth, George high fived 11 times world champion Kelly Slater when Kelly was about to enter the water for his quarter final and watched in awe as Kelly pulled off a perfect 10 in the final. One of SUPERS heroes is Mick Fanning or WHITE LIGHTNING as he is known in the surf industry, Mick is a two times world champion and a real powerful athlete, Mick left nothing out on the waves that afternoon and took the points in what was described as one of the greatest finals in memory.
George had front row position for the trophy presentation and watched Mick ring the famous Bell on the trophy.
Two days later, SUPER was out the front of his family home in Jan Juc ( no doubt fine tuning a skateboard manoeuvre) when across the road he sees WHITE LIGHTNING about to travel home to the Gold Coast.
Mick was happy to have this photo taken with SUPER and this moment made a young man very happy and proud that his surf hero is an Aussie sporting Legend.
“NICE ONE SUPER”
