JUNIOR FOOTY

The Hampton Rovers Football Club fields teams from U8's through to U17's in the South Metro Junior Football League. In 2017 the club also plans to field up to four junior girls teams. The majority of our younger age groups play their home games at our second home ground - Castlefield Reserve in Ludstone Street which is smaller and ideal for junior footy - the ground was recently resurfaced and new lights installed. Our older teams play at our main ground - Boss James Reserve, corner David Street and Bluff Road Hampton. Games are mainly played on a Sunday with occassional night games throughout the season.

Hampton Rovers Football Club is an enjoyable place for both players and parents to be around with a strong football program and regular social functions throughout the year including the traditional "At Home with the Rovers". The club heads into 2017 full of optimism following a successful 2016 season. Registrations open soon!

ABOUT THE HAMPTON ROVERS FOOTBALL CLUB

The Hampton Rovers Football Club is proud to have a great junior football program. At the Rovers, the priority is success and the development & enjoyment of all players. Players of all abilities are welcome at our great club. In 2016, over 400 players wore the green & gold including over 300 junior players. In 2017, the Rovers plan to field up to 20 teams from U8's through to U17's including up to four girls teams in the South Metro Junior Football League. We also run an Auskick program which in 2016 had around 200 participants.

The club introduced the Rovers Football Academy in 2013 - held during the school holidays by senior coaching staff with a wealth of experience and key senior players, providing junior players the opportunity further their skills and learn about senior football. This program has continued since and is popular with our younger players.

Having the advantage of a one-club environment, the Hampton Rovers Football Club offers a full pathway for footy players. From starting off in Auskick, developing through the Juniors, and playing Senior Football at a high level in the VAFA all at one club. The club also has an official allignment with the Sandringham Zebras (VFL) and strong links with the Sandringham Dragons (TAC Cup). The Rovers is a community club and one of the leading sporting club's in Bayside.
