Please note that if you have never completed an MSJFL

you will also need to complete one of these forms and

Also note that we will be holding a special information
session for all new Hampton Rovers Members during our
annual ROVERS Registration day (see below).
The Club is pleased to announce a series of new or
updated policies will be in place for the 2012 year:
We encourage all members and prospective members to
familiarise themselves with these new policies. You can
click on the links in above to access the details of the
new policies.
New policies are in place for the processing of
registrations for 2012.
-
Fees have been increased to $210 per player to cover
a number of significant aspects of club operations.
The increase in fees aims to cover new player-based
levies from the MSJFL – in fact introduced in 2011
but not passed on by the club in 2011 – as well as
meeting financial commitments for our revised Junior
Match Committee and Technical Football Management
roles which are being introduced to the club.
Please click here for an explanation of our fee
changes in 2012;
-
Our new registration process which aims at
minimising the situations where too many players are
allocated to a specific team and rotation of players
on and off during the year is required.
Please click here for an explanation of the new
registration process for 2012;
-
Key to this new registration process is the
establishment of a Priority List of
registrations for all teams in 2012. By
re-registering online before February 18, an
existing HRAFC player will be effectively guaranteed
a team place in 2012. Re-registrations following
that date will be placed on the Normal List
with new registrations, and whilst every endeavour
will be made by the club, we will not be able to
guarantee a placement for any registrations
following this date. So get on register now!!!
All registrations will be taken online, and the
Registration Day that has been in place in recent
years will change to a Rovers Season Launch and
Family Day which we expect to be held on April
1, 2012. More information will be available as the
date and activities are finalised, which will be
real soon!!. So register online now, as we will not
be holding an actual registration day in February
2012.
Learn to play our great game at Hampton Rovers
Auskick in 2012! Over 350 participants did in the
last 2 years, and this year promises to be even
bigger and better. Boys and Girls are welcome.
Registration Day will be set soon.
The Hampton Rovers Football Club is proud to have one of
the best junior set-ups of any club. At the Rovers, the
number one priority is the enjoyment of all players. All
players, of all abilities, are always more than welcome
at our great club. In 2011, the Rovers fielded 16 junior
teams (U9's through to U17's) which equated to over 400
players, with the addition of 40 odd Girls playing in
the inaugural Girls competition. We also run an
Auskick
program which in 2011 had around 150 participants.
The Hampton Rovers junior teams participate in the
Moorabbin Saints Junior Football League. In general, the
younger teams (U9-U14) play their home games at our
smaller ground - Castlefield Reserve in Ludstone Street
while the U15's, U16's & U17's play at our main ground,
Boss James Reserve, corner David Street and Bluff Road
Hampton. Games are played on a Sunday however there are
also several Friday Night games throughout the season.
Hampton Rovers Football Club is an enjoyable place for
both players and parents to be around. We have regular
social functions throughout the season including the
traditional "At Home with the Rovers" which brings
together all the teams, match reports are read out, food
and drinks are available, and the parents can catch up.
The club is also open Friday evenings and Sunday's for
drinks. There's no better club than the Rovers to get
involved in!
Having the advantage of a one-club set-up, the Hampton
Rovers offer a full pathway for players. From starting
off in Auskick, developing through the Juniors, and
playing Senior Football at a high level (VAFA) all at
the one club, while also having strong links with the
Sandringham Dragons (TAC Cup) and Sandringham Zebras (VFL).
The Rovers are a community club and one of the leading
sporting club's in Bayside. Join us in 2012!
