Stay tuned for 2009 info!
With over 75 years of history, the Hampton Rovers
Amateur Football Club is one of Australia's largest football
club's with over 500 registered players. The club has some of
the finest facilities and a great atmosphere. On the field, the
Rovers have over 20 teams including 3 senior teams who play in the VAFA, while the junior teams participate in the MSJFL. The club
also has Auskick with over 125 participants last year. Off the
field, the Hampton Rovers are just as strong, with plenty of big
social functions throughout the year as well as getting involved
with the community and charities. After a
fantastic 2007 season in which the Rovers made the Grand Final under new coach,
former Coburg captain and VFL Liston Medal winner Gary Sheldon, the club is
looking to have a strong season back up in C Section in 2008. The club is
pleased to announce Paul Curry as new Reserves coach and Anthony Quon as new
coach of the Under 19's who also made the Grand Final in 2007.
Whether you're a senior player looking to pull on the boots, a parent wanting to
get your kids into footy, a business looking for greater exposure by sponsoring
the club, or a supporter simply wanting to get behind the club or helping out,
2008 is a great year to get involved. The Hampton Rovers welcome everyone with
open arms, please click on one of the following links for further details or
