Junior Footy & AFL Auskick
Hampton Rovers Amateur Football Club is a proud club with over 80
years of history. The club has great facilities at its home
ground Boss James Reserve and is professionally run. The Rovers
participate in the second highest division in the VAFA –
Australia’s largest senior football competition. There are four
senior teams, including three open-age teams. While there
are 15 junior teams participating in the MSJFL. Along with
almost 200 Auskick participants, the Hampton Rovers is one of
Australia’s largest football club’s.
After consolidating the club's position in B grade in 2009
following duel-promotion the previous two years, the club looks
forward to a successful 2010 under new senior coach, ex-Western
Bulldogs star Matthew Robbins. The Hampton Rovers attract some of the largest home
crowds in the VAFA and are well known in football circles and
the local community.
Off the field, the Hampton Rovers is an enjoyable place to be
with many functions throughout the year both in the large fully
licensed social rooms and at other locations.
The Rovers welcome anyone with open arms. Whether you’re an
experienced player looking to play at the highest level in local
footy, a player wanting a more relaxed environment to play in
the thirds, a parent wanting to get your kids into footy, a
business looking for greater exposure by sponsoring the club, or
a supporter simply wanting to get behind the club or helping
out, there is no better time than 2010 to get on board.
