Welcome to the International Aussie Rules section of the
Hampton Rovers AFC Website. The Rovers have developed a strong
relationship with international Aussie Rules organisations. During the inaugural
Australian Football International Cup in 2002, the Rovers hosted
both the USA and PNG sides which gave them the opportunity to
watch training and experience how a local footy club operates in
Australia. This was again done during the 2005 tournament with
the USA and South African teams visiting the Rovers. Involvement between the Rovers and international
Aussie Rules organisations is set to increase in the future with
various programs planned including exchange players and
functions during the 3rd International Cup in 2008.
